9th Grade
REFLECTION
Looking back at my 9th grade year, I think I had a good year. I'm just saying this cause it was fun. I've grown so much more mature throughout my 9th grade. I had a chance to experience a lot of things. This year I feel like I improved tremendously from last year. Last year I wasn't able to sit in a class for more than 5 mins, and now I stay in class for the whole period and get my work done. I feel that I made a huge improvement. My grades last year suffered a lot, mostly because I was never in class and didn't get the chance to learn the topic so I never did homework. Those were decision that I made that hurted me.
I learned from all my mistakes that I made last year. This year I learned that whenever you need to go to the bathroom your missing an important lesson. I actually consider waiting until all the instructions are given out before I go to the bathroom. My grades from last year were all D's and this year I'm getting B's and C's. I think that right there is a good improvement. I don't think I could've done it without the help of my wonderful teachers. My teachers realy encouraged me to be the person that I'am right now. The most important thing my teachers thought me this was responsibility and accountability. I have to always be responsible and accountable for my actions.
That motto took a big role in my life. My mother has also been a huge part in my 9th grade year. My 9th grade the decision to fianlly join the football team. My biggest fear was being a bench warmer throughout the season, but I ended up on varsity on my first year. What I got to learn is that football should'nt come before my school. Even though sports is a way to keep kids busy and staying in school, your school work should always come first. I would like to thank all my teachers for helping grow and for helping become a more responsible person. That's something I will take with me to the 10th grade.
